What's included with my rental?
Every rental includes access to your booked studio, a private entrance, heat & A/C, and a private restroom and changing room. Cyc wall rentals include the seamless wall and lighting; podcast & content rentals include a multi-cam setup with an in-house operator, live-cut video, and stereo mix. Add-on gear and services are available — contact us for a quote.
How much does it cost to rent the studio?
Cyc wall rentals are $100/hr for video or $75/hr for photography. Podcast & content recording starts at $250/hr and includes an in-house operator, multi-cam setup, live-cut video, and stereo mix. Editing, social clips, and podcast packages are quoted separately.
Where is Blue Dog Studio located?
We're at 131 N Ludlow St, Dayton, Ohio 45402 — inside the Talbott Tower in downtown Dayton, about a block from the Montgomery County Courthouse and next to our sister event venue.
Where do I park?
There's ample street parking nearby, plus a private lot directly across the street (approximately $10/day). If your rental is during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm), we offer comped valet parking within the Talbott Tower garage — just ask us to arrange it.
Can I tour the studio before booking?
Absolutely! Reach out via the contact form or email to schedule a walkthrough. A tour isn't required to book — you can reserve your session anytime.
Who is the studio ideal for?
Photographers, videographers, podcasters, and content creators of all kinds. We've hosted local, regional, and national production companies for TV spots and commercial shoots, and the space is a popular choice for bridal and wedding portrait sessions.

A few ground rules to keep things running smoothly.
Promptness
Please be on time for both arrival and departure. Going over your scheduled time incurs an additional fee of $200 per hour.
No Glitter
We have a strict no-glitter policy. It's nearly impossible to fully clean and affects the studio for future clients.
Bookings & Cancellations
All bookings are non-refundable to hold your space. You may reschedule with at least 24 hours notice.
Food & Drink
Food and beverages are welcome. Please be respectful of the space — excessive messes may result in a cleaning fee.
Damages & Responsibility
You're responsible for any damages or excessive mess during your rental. Cleaning, repair, or replacement costs will be charged at our discretion.
Moving Studio Items
Feel free to rearrange the studio for your shoot — just return everything to its original place before you leave.
